Jun’s roof was approximately 20 years plus and thought that it would be a good time for him to redo his roof. Our Project Manager Hugh went out, inspected the property, and saw that the roof was way past its expectancy. Hugh explained the process that would then take place to get Jun’s roof replaced. Jim’s roof was about 15 years of age when he called in. He was interested in getting solar panels put on his roof and thought it would be a good idea to get the roof inspected before installing the solar panels. The homeowner called us to get their 24 year old roof completely replaced. John heard about ECC Roofing & Siding through his nephew and decided to give us a call for his roofing needs. His roof was approximately 25 years old with a minimal leak. Rusty went out to the home assessed any damage he saw and gave him a free estimate. John thought our price was just right and signed with us for his roof install. The homeowner decided to get in touch with us because his 25 year old roof was leaking in a few spots. One of our Project Managers went out to assess the roof and see where the leaks were coming from. The homeowner decided that due to the leaking and age of the roof, he would get a whole new roof so that he didn't continue to have issues. He chose Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in the color Slatestone Gray for his new roof and he couldn't have been happier with the results!

The homeowner had gotten in contact with us because it was time to replace his 30 year old roof. One of our Project Managers went out to assess the roof. It turned out that the house, which was from the 1930's, still had the original cedar shake roof under old layers of asphalt shingles! For his new roof, the homeowner chose GAF Timberline Prestige High Definition shingles in the color Slate. He was very happy with his new roof!

Here are some before pictures from a customer's roof in Gloucester City. This is called a roof over. A roof over is comprised of two layers of shingles. The nails from the original roof and the new nails that go in on the second layer are exposed to extreme temperatures from heat and cold creating condensation between the shingles thusly allowing freezing around the gutters in the eaves. This ice damming typically causes damaged plywood and water penetration to the decking. Over time it will rot the wood and create a valley that will then allow the water to find a point greater than the slope of the roof, allowing the water to run into the house. ECC went out and removed 2 layers of shingles and replaced it with Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration.

Sara had water entering her attic every time there was a heavy rain storm. She called ECC Roofing and Siding because she knew it was something that she could not do  herself. We came out to her property and was able to find a solution. Our Project Manager Randy found a couple slate tiles that were loose and found the leak that was coming from the chimney within the vent stack. Our crew guys fixed the loose slate tiles and siliconed all of the necessary areas which will stop the roof from leaking. Sara was grateful that she called ECC right away!

Chris and Jennifer were experiencing some issues with their ventilation. The upstairs was extremely hot and there was condensation building up in the attic. After speaking with the home owners, an appointment was set for Our Certified Project Manager, Randy, to go out and inspect the roof. There weren't any soffit vents to collaborate with the roof ridge vent so the air can't circulate. To resolve this issue, ECC has to replace the soffit, fascia, and the wrap so it could be properly vented. Jennifer couldn't be any happier to actually feel comfortable in her home with a normal air flow. 

Our Certified Project Manager, Rusty, met with the home owner who told him that during bad storms, water would enter into the four corners of the house where the drains are. The roof is a flat roof system with scupper cup drains and downspouts. The previous contractor did a very poor installation. There are cracks in the tar and open areas near the scupper cups that aren't the proper sizes. The only way ECC could resolve this issue was by replacing the entire roof. Charles is thankful that we were able to come out and fix his leaking roof as soon as we could!

ECC was called out to do an inspection on a home in Sicklerville that had interior damage from a leak. There had been a recent storm and the roof was covered with snow, so in order to do the inspection ECC had to remove the snow. After the snow removal, it was clear that there were missing shingles due to storm damage. ECC sent their production team over immediately to do a temporary repair and stop the leak. ECC removed the existing roof down to the plywood and installed Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration in Onyx Black. ECC was able to work with the homeowner's insurance and get the roof fully covered. 

After inspecting this roof for hail damage, there were obvious signs that the roof had been compromised from the storm that hit Cherry Hill and the surrounding areas. The home owner's insurance company was notified and after their inspection they agreed that there was damage. ECC Roofing & Siding worked with the customer's homeowners and was able to get the entire roof replaced. The homeowner decided to go with Peppercorn, a new Owen's Corning color. What a difference a new roof makes!

This homeowner had water seeping into her home and called ECC Roofing & Siding to assess the condition of the roof. Upon our inspection we found that not only were the shingles in bad condition, but there was a substantial amount of damaged plywood along with rusted flanges which allowed for water to trickle its way in. 

Our team of professionals addressed the damaged area by removing the shingles and replacing the plywood as needed, securing the integrity of the roof before applying ice and water shield and the appropriate waterproofing underlayment. All the rusted flanges were changed to ensure that no more leaks would continue to affect the interior of their home. 

Mr. and Mrs. homeowner were so pleased to find that the leaks were addressed in a timely fashion and with a level of expertise that gave them complete peace of mind.
